Using Your Psychic Intuition This Gift-Giving Season

The holidays are just around the corner, and most of us are starting to fill with the excitement that accompanies the gift-giving season. That’s probably because there’s truth to the old adage that the joy of giving far exceeds the joy of receiving.

But for others of us, we’re left worrying about whether we’ll pick the right gifts for the people we love. Will they like it? Hate it? End up returning our present? (If so, better get a gift receipt.) Or perhaps they’ll be so disappointed, they’ll start wondering if we really know them at all…

If this sounds like you, keep in mind that:

Each and every one of us has psychic intuition.

As one of Boston’s best psychic mediums, I believe that we all have psychic abilities, whether we acknowledge them or not. And that includes psychic intuition. All you have to do is tune into that intuition, listen to it, and make decisions that flow from it.

If you’ve traditionally had issues with buying the right gift for the right person, you might want to consider using psychic intuition to uncover it.

What is psychic intuition?

Psychic intuition is an immediate, instinctive, almost unconscious knowing. It’s that feeling you get when you just know something, but can’t really point to any particular reason why – only to later find out you were right.

Can you develop your psychic intuition?

We all have intuition, to some degree. But the great news is that our innate gift of intuition can be nurtured – and grow stronger – through practice.

The more you use it, the more you develop it. And the more you come to trust your intuition and rely on it to make decisions, the more you’ll find your actions are in sync with the wisdom of both your higher self and the Universe as a whole.

How can my psychic intuition help me choose gifts for my loved ones this holiday season?

Tapping into your psychic intuition helps you to connect deeply with your authentic self, and the Universe. Once you access this place of calm wisdom, removed from the daily “noise” we all experience in life, you will simply know whether you’re making the best possible choice or not.

The below meditation is one way to help you tune into your intuition.

Take a couple of minutes to yourself in a quiet place where you will not be disturbed. Sit down in a relaxed position. Close your eyes, and slow your breathing.

Once you feel calm and relaxed, focus your attention on the person you’re giving a gift to. Blank your mind and ask your intuition what gift they might really enjoy.

Wait a few moments, and listen to what your intuition tells you. Be mindful that messages can come in several forms, like images, words, sounds, etc.

Now, this practice may work if you’re doing some at-home preparation before you set out to buy a gift, but you might be wondering how you can use your intuition if you’re in a crowded retail store, or about to make a purchase online.

In these cases, take a moment, breathe, and check in with your gut about the item you’re about to purchase for your loved one. Does it feel right? Is something off? Follow your gut.

Intuitive Coaching: The “How” Of Success

You might already know that coaching is wise, effective, just plain makes sense, or are simply curious. If the latter category, you might like to read my last post on what Intuitive Coaching is and why it might serve you perfectly.

Here now, in this post, we’re going further into the how, the mechanics.

Psychic intuition: magic, mystery and science

Some say that there is no such thing as magic. That it’s all rationally explainable if one simply understands the mechanics of the ‘tricks’. Maybe so or maybe not, yet we definitely know that success is a science, and that to create success, for you to manifest whatever it is you want in your life – abundance, relationship, home, possessions, attitude – there are mechanics to it. While I could write a whole book on this, here are some of the most essential components.

Getting to know you – psychics have the advantage

The first part of any good and effective coaching relationship (and this is true of most any kind of relationship with depth) is that the coach learns who you are, what you want, and how you tick. As a psychic, indeed I have a great advantage here. Not only am I in love with my clients and dedicated to their success, and not only do I have tons of experience with people and psychology, I also have the ability to hear and see what isn’t on the surface.

That can be intimidating to some until they realize that part of coaching is that we are working together to create your breakthroughs. I only succeed when you do. And for me to assist you, it means getting to know, appreciate and understand the perfection that you are now. Sure, there are some attitudes and behaviors that we might want to play with, adjust or enhance in order to help you to get what you want, and I always start with the assumption and knowledge that everyone is perfect as they are.

In intuitive coaching, questions create clarity

There’s a common misconception that coaches give advice. While it’s true that I will offer strategies and suggestions from that you might employ, the bigger part of my job as coach is to ask the questions that bring out the clarity that is already inside you.

Even on a cloudy day we know the sun is shining. The Universe wants our success and happiness – that’s our natural state; all that is ever preventing it is our own confusion, our cloudiness. The right questions draw from you the clarity that is already there, and from that clarity, progress comes quickly.

It’s up to you – and accountability in your corner

Everyone knows that the one thing a tennis or basketball coach can’t do is step out onto the court and play the game. It’s the same in our relationship. No one can outsource another to go to the gym and do the reps for them.

What I can do for you though, is give you some supportive accountability. I’ll offer you assignments or homework based on the clarity of what you want to achieve. If you choose to take on those missions, the next time we speak, I will be asking you how it went. If you’re like me, and most people, simply knowing that someone’s paying attention, that someone (even better someone we are paying) is going to ask us if we did our part, we are far more motivated. I become your accountability partner.

Coaching could well be described as a success partnership. Your job is to be the perfect you, to create the life that you were meant for and which lights you up with delight. My job is support you. When you win, we both win.

Are you ready to step into the winner’s circle?

Natural Psychic Abilities: Animal Instinct Explained

Mount Agung, the volcano in Bali, is still rumbling. Locals, who live on the mountain and at the base, many of whom were not alive back in 1963 when it last erupted, knew that it was active well before they heard anything from officials. How? Snakes and Monkeys were moving down the mountain. According to scientists, snakes can sense earthquakes at a distance of 120 miles and their unusual behavior can be used to predict and detect.

Just before the major tsunami hit Asian coastlines in 2004, dogs were seen to refuse to leave home and didn’t want to go toward the coast.

At the time of that same tsunami, the Flamingos that are bred at Point Calimere wildlife sanctuary in India, left their normal low lying breeding area and flew to higher areas.

On the island of Sumatra elephants who were giving rides to tourists began trumpeting at about the time the earthquake began even though it was not ‘feelable’ to humans. The owner of the business, Dang Salangam said he’d never heard the elephants crying out like that before. The elephants rebelled against their trainers commands and ran inland and up into the hills.

More than 200,000 people were killed by the magnitude 9 earthquake off the coast of Sumatra. If you haven’t seen the movie The Impossible, it gives a powerful and surreal, if distant, experience of that tragedy. One of the notable aspects of it is that many people were completely unaware of anything being ‘off’ until the first massive wave was upon them. After the clean up, very few animals were found dead.

In 373 B.C. according to the Roman historian Aelian, many animals, including snakes, rats, centipedes and weasels came up from underground and hurried out of the city of Helike five days before an earthquake destroyed it.

Alternatively, whereas most animals move away from intensified weather patterns, tiger sharks tend to move toward electrical storms.

Some scientists theorize that the prescient behavior of animals is due to their heightened infrasonic sound pulses generated by earth shifts, and are quick to dismiss the perspective that there is something mystical at work. Elephant communication is 3/4 infrasonic.

Intuitive awareness and your natural psychic abilities

Others point to the animal behavior as coming from a sixth sense. We humans have big brains, and perhaps with the development there in the cranium, we’ve lost other abilities we once had.

More accurate than humans having lost that sixth sense, or intuitive ability , is that in our head-centric advancement, the more ‘animal’ parts of us, especially the beneficial ones, like empathy, have gone dormant.

However we explain the animal behavior, their awareness being different than that of us human animals is evident. Humans have made incredible advances in science and technology, and while clearly there are many benefits, could there also be detriments?

In Joni Mitchell’s classic song from 1967, Both Sides Now, she sings:

Well something’s lost and something’s gained
In living everyday

The heart and the head, the human intellect and the animal wisdom. Neither is good or bad, and both serve purposes. The question might become how do we use one or the other, or maybe both, to ultimately foster what is most important to us.

Tapping into your own natural psychic abilities

Perhaps it’s time for us to look at life from both sides too. The heart and the head, the human intellect and the animal wisdom, which may be how some of us tap into our intuitive abilities. Neither is good or bad, and both serve purposes. The question might become how do we use one or the other, or maybe both, to ultimately foster what is most important to us.

And you, in your life now, how useful might it be to regain some of your own natural psychic abilities or animal sensitivity. The brain serves many functions in life, and yet when we truly tune in, we know (in our bones and intuition) that it’s the heart that leads us to love and fulfillment.

Ram Das, the philosopher, teacher and author, who was formerly Richard Alpert, professor at Harvard, said: “I’ve met some of the smartest people in our time, and some of the wisest. The difference between them is that the wise ones are also happy.”

Recovering Emotionally from Trauma and Natural Disasters: *My 9/11 Anniversary Perspective, Boston, MA

We just passed the anniversary of 9/11 earlier this month. Do you remember where you were and who you were with when you heard the news about the Twin towers? I bet you do. Every person I’ve asked this question to recalls with great clarity. This is common with group (or collective) trauma.

How about July 11, 2017? You might; that was just a couple months ago, though more than likely, unless there was something occurring in your life with emotional importance, you’d need to work to remember that date.

In Baz Luhrmann’s song Sunscreen – and if you haven’t heard the song, I encourage you to give it a listen – he says:

Don’t worry about the future. Or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubblegum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind. The kind that blindside you at 4 PM on some idle Tuesday. Despite this sage advice, worry is our tendency.

My friend Daniel was in New York that morning. He’s a yogi, and had just come out of a class with a visiting dignitary teacher at Chelsea Piers, where 23rd Street meets the West Side Highway.

“I knew something was off right away. I got to the street corner and a bunch of people were gathered there. They were eagerly talking to each other. Some were pointing up over downtown.”

People don’t tend to stop and talk on the Streets in New York. When he told me the story of his experience there that day, two things stood out.

He recounted: “I joined the group there and a man in a business suit told me that a plane had crashed into one of the towers. I was looking up when the second plane hit. It happened so fast that I couldn’t see the plane. What I did see though, and what changed my life forever, was the explosion on the other side of the building. Flames and smoke poured out.

‘Immediately I went from thinking that we’d experienced a bizarre and tragic accident (a plane crashing into a building) to the realization that this was not an accident. The next moment brought the terrifying question: ‘what else is going to happen now?'”

Most of us are unlikely to experience a terrorist attack, or even a life-threatening hurricane, earthquake or fire. And while that’s generally something positive – certainly I don’t wish those kind of experiences upon anyone – my friend Daniel, and some of the people in the midst of the world’s current natural disasters, may have an advantage over us.

I asked him how his life was forever changed.

I knew – and I mean knew deep in my bones – that there really is no certainty. We think we know what’s going to happen, and the truth is anything can happen in any moment.”

One lesson we might get from this is that given the truth that we never really know the future, we do well to prioritize what’s truly important to us.

Advice about the future,  Boston’s best psychic

I’ll let you in on a little psychic industry secret. My work is more about the present than the future. Sure, I do get impressions and visions, and they turn out to be accurate most of the time. More importantly though, I help people understand themselves and what’s happening now – and from that, they are much better at creating their own destinies.

For a few days after 9/11 New York’s atmosphere radically changed from the cold, impersonal city it’s known for to a village where people talked to each other, looked out for each other.

In the midst of disaster, a common question becomes: ‘what matters to me?’

What would you be doing or saying if you weren’t ‘sure’ about the future. Baz goes on to say: Do one thing everyday that scares you every day.

Perhaps right now is a great time to align your life with what matters to you. If you would would like to seek guidance in this realm, please get in touch or schedule an appointment today.

*I put this blog post on hold to address Hurricane Harvey. The message in the post is still as pertinent as it was on September 11th.

How Natural Disasters Affect Consciousness

You’re sitting in your living room with your family. The windows are taped to prevent them from shattering, yet with the intensity and randomness of the wind, and the sharp and excruciating sounds outside – metal smacking against metal, the snap of trees, the eerie whip of air over the roof – all the precautions you’ve made feel like little protection.

What do you feel?

A lot of you reading this are in New England, and while we get blasted with Nor’Easters, we seldom get hurricanes. Let alone earthquakes or tsunamis. Still, can you imagine? What happens inside you?

Fear – primal, powerful and potentially crippling

One of the first, most powerful impacts of a natural disaster is the activation of our most basic, animal sense of survival. Or, more potently felt, the fear that we will not survive.

Right? Fear. Plain and simple. Right now fear is ripping through much of our world.

In and of itself there is nothing wrong with fear. In fact, fear is not only hard-wired into every human being, it’s necessary and can be beneficial. The biggest problem with fear though, is that not only does it keep us from creating, living and achieving what we most desire in our life, it’s often operating below the surface of our awareness.

Stay with me: I’m diverging for a moment from the fear that arises in the midst of an earthquake. That’s a primal fear, like if we see a spider or a snake. It’s automatic.

The other type of fear is the more crippling. Fears of failure, or success. Fear of jealousy, or greatness, or responsibility. If I created my dream company, what would I then be responsible for? What would my family think of me? If I wrote that novel that I’ve been talking about, what if no one liked it? What if a lot of people liked it – what would I need to do then to live up to it?

Are you making the connection? When we are afraid of a hurricane, it’s obvious. When it’s a fear of taking a risk in our life, not so much. In fact, it can be so hidden from awareness (suppressed or repressed) that we are sure the reason we haven’t done something, changed something, created something or stopped doing something.

FEAR – Feeling Excited And Ready

Whether you are in the midst of, or the aftermath of, a natural disaster these days, you might take the proactive jump to asking yourself what’s really important to you.

For many people one of the effects of a natural disaster is the reassessment of what really matters to them. If we are not directly affected by the destructive forces of nature these days, we might be wise to get the lesson anyway. Right now, what matters to you? What have you been living with that is – if you are brave and honest – no longer tolerable? What have you not stepped up to that if fear were no longer holding you back, you’d boldly move towards?

How Boston’s Psychic Medium can help

It’s in this realm that I can be of assistance to you. As a psychic, I cannot alter nature, nor is my path to be a rescuer. One of the obvious components of recent events is that none of us really know what’s going to happen. Life is too precious to squander by delaying what really matters.

What I can help you with, though, is getting in deeper contact with your own inner drives, fears and motivation. You might say that I am, as medium, a connector between you and your higher self. Sometimes we’ve been fishies in our own fishbowl so long, we don’t even realize what we are putting up with or putting off.

There’s nothing like 130 mph winds, the rumble of the earth below our feet or viewing cars swimming where there once was road to get our attention.

You matter to me. You matter to the world. And so I ask you, here and now, what matters to you?

If you would are feeling fear and would like to seek guidance in the realm, please get in touch or schedule an appointment today.
