One of the things people fear most when approaching a psychic is that they may hear a dire prediction about themselves or a loved one. This, of course, can really shake a client up and can be hard to let go of once the seed of thought has been planted.
But if a psychic is foretelling future events like death, disease, divorce, and other life-shattering things, remember, psychics, are not 100% accurate. The future is a moving target, and there is no way to accurately predict such an occurrence, as the possibilities for your future shift with each breath you take and each choice you make.
Some psychics may try to instill fear in you purposely as a sales pitch, so you’ll come back, again and again, to learn how to avoid such a catastrophe. This is a classic example of how clients can give up their power to a psychic, and end up getting taken advantage of. Professional psychics, however, are mindful of the impact their words have on you and will be sure to deliver them in a way that’s empowering and solution oriented, rather than discouraging.
Will a psychic make predictions about death?
When you visit an honest and professional psychic, like myself, and many of those in the professions I consider friends, although we might not tell you what you want to hear, we will not even entertain delivering psychic messages to you which take your power away.
My role, as a top Boston psychic medium is not to tell you your future or instill fear of what’s ahead for you- it’s to guide you into discovering broader possibilities for yourself and to gain the insight you need to make decisions for your life that will change it for the better.
What does it mean if death comes up in my reading?
Sometimes when the theme of death comes up in a reading, it is symbolic of a metaphorical “death”- a shedding, letting go, releasing- that must take place in order for something new to be born in its place.
Occasionally, however, the Death card might mean an actual death. If it does though, I find that usually, the death is in the past, and not a prediction about the future. For whatever reason, when the Death card shows up, it’s important to talk about.
The number of times the Death card shows up versus the number of times it portends a real death are limited. Even so, I do not, and, I do not recommend that a psychic give you death predictions.
Death is part of the cycle of life. Parts of ourselves, especially the beliefs we have which are limiting us or keeping us stuck, must “die” before we can begin to see the truth, find clarity, and move towards greater awareness of what we want for our lives!
